7.1 Official Releases Are Now Available, Bringing Mac and Linux Versions to SecureFX and Tiling to SecureCRT for Mac and Linux

Today we released the official versions of SecureFX® 7.1, SecureCRT® 7.1, and ClientPack 7.1.

New in SecureFX 7.1 (Official) are versions for Mac and Linux platforms, offering the same advanced features found in SecureFX for Windows.  With the new platform support, integration with SecureCRT is now available on Windows, Mac, and Linux workstations; a powerful addition for those of you working in cross platform environments.

SecureCRT 7.1 (Official) extends session tiling to the Mac and Linux versions. Tiling helps troubleshoot issues by allowing you to quickly compare the content of tiled sessions.  The chat window can also be used with tiled sessions, making it possible to send commands to all sessions and see the resulting output.

Also new is optional integration with SecureFX 7.1 on all platforms, support for Kermit file transfers, and a character send delay option to wait for a text prompt, which allows data to be sent as fast as the remote system can handle.

Both SecureCRT 7.1 and SecureFX 7.1 now have a dependent session option for connecting to a jump host or SSH gateway before connecting to other sessions.

On the Windows platform, the new releases of SecureCRT, SecureFX, and the VanDyke ClientPack have support for SHA1 in RSA signatures, which allows X.509 certificates to be used in FIPS mode.
