New maintenance releases of SecureCRT 7.3.3 and SecureFX 7.3.3 are now available for download.
The 7.3.3 releases introduce a new passphrase requirement that improves security when saving passwords and other sensitive data. SecureCRT and SecureFX require a passphrase to be created the first time version 7.3.3 runs and will need to be entered every time SecureCRT and SecureFX starts. The passphrase will be used to encrypt and decrypt sensitive data stored in the session database.

Today we released beta 1 of VShell 4.1. VShell 4.1 for Windows improves trigger support by adding a new built-in SFTP transfer trigger action. Trigger actions can now be configured to run as an account other than the VShell service account. On all platforms, support for ECDSA host keys and ECDH key-exchange algorithms have been added, as well as support for larger RSA key bit sizes, all of which improve security and compliance.
