Beta 2 Release of VShell 4.2 Now Available with New VShell Monitor Options and Ability to Access Virtual Root Paths as Different User

The beta 2 release of VShell 4.2 is now available for download.

With VShell 4.2 for Windows you can now:

  • Access virtual root paths as a different user than the logged in user.
  • Easily backup or copy the VShell configuration using the VShell Control Panel import/export tool.

On all platforms, VShell 4.2 adds:

  • The ability to deny connections based on user name.
  • In VShell FTPS, support for client certificate authentication as well as the ability to configure SSL encryption and authentication options on a per listen address basis.
